The European Home Blueprint
Your European home, decided in three weeks.
One dated decision file: your country and city, your residence route, your property strategy and budget, the risks that decide the outcome, the licensed specialists named for each question, and the calendar that puts them in order. Prepared with you in three weeks, for $7,500, credited in full if you proceed to execution.
If the Blueprint does not give you clarity on country, budget, tax route and timeline, the fee is refunded and the work remains yours.
Why European moves go wrong
Five right answers can still make one wrong plan.
Your CPA optimizes the tax year. The attorney optimizes the visa. The realtor optimizes the closing. Each can be excellent, and the house still arrives before the residence route. Nobody made a mistake. Nobody owned the order.
Four of those decisions are one-way doors. They come up in almost every file.
The residency date
Tax residence starts on a date, not on a decision. Land before a company sale closes and a European country can tax a gain that was built entirely in the United States.
The purchase
Owning a European home gives you no additional right to be in it. Without a residence route, a second home is still capped by the Schengen ninety day limit.
The ownership structure
France, Spain and Italy reserve a share of an estate for children by law. How the property is held on the day of signature can quietly overrule an American will.
The US accounts
Many American brokers restrict or close accounts once the address of record leaves the country. That is far easier to arrange before the move than after it.
The Blueprint puts those decisions in order while every one of them is still open.
Your objective
What are you actually trying to do in Europe?
Two answers, and they are not the same mandate. Most people arrive with one and discover halfway through that they need both.
Objective one
Live in Europe.
You are moving, or you will spend most of the year there. Everything has to work at once, and in the right order.
- Residence route and visa
- Taxes on both sides
- Legal, notary and succession
- Banking, currency and schools
- The property and its works
Objective two
Put part of your wealth in Europe.
You want assets outside one country and one currency, usually with property as the anchor. What decides the outcome is not the asset. It is how it is held.
- Ownership structure
- Who inherits, and under whose law
- Taxes that follow the asset
- The effect on your US position
- A European company where one belongs
A family office, narrowed to one thing: your European life.
What that gets you
Three things you do not have today.
Simple access to Europe
A country chosen on your criteria, a residence route you actually qualify for, and a date you can plan a year around. Not a shortlist of options. A decision.
Capital and business on both sides
Part of your wealth, and where it makes sense part of your business, held in Europe in a structure decided before the first transfer rather than repaired after it.
Nothing irreversible done blind
Every one way door identified, priced and put in order while all of them are still open. That is the whole reason the decision phase comes before the execution phase.

Founder-led
One person is accountable, and it stays that way.
Every Blueprint is led personally by Alexandre: six years of M&A at Rothschild & Co on more than EUR 10 billion of announced European transactions, private equity experience underwriting European real estate, and a software company built and sold. ESSEC Paris. Based in Paris, working across France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Monaco, in French, English and Spanish.
Before founding European Private Office, Alexandre personally guided more than 50 individuals and families through their moves to Europe. This office takes five private clients per quarter, which is what makes founder-led work possible rather than a slogan.
- EUR 10bn+Of announced European transactions advised at Rothschild & Co
- 50+Individuals and families personally guided to Europe, before founding this office
- 6Core corridors: France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Monaco
Our expertise
Three disciplines, run as one file.
Coordination of every advisor
One European lead holds the brief, runs the specialists and keeps the order. You have one conversation instead of eight.
Financial and wealth planning
Which assets stay in the United States, which move, in what order and at what currency risk. Regulated advice stays with licensed professionals. The sequence stays here.
Residence planning
The route you qualify for today, what it costs in days on the ground and reporting each year, and where it can lead over time.
Who this is for
Retirees, investors, entrepreneurs.
Retirees and pre-retirees
The life is the easy part.
What breaks quietly is the infrastructure: the brokerage account that will not follow you, the healthcare decision penalized for life if taken out of order, the trust European succession law reads differently.
Country and budget settled, then those three put in order.
Investors
A piece of Europe, held properly.
Owning the property gives you no additional right to be in it. How you hold it decides who inherits it, and some taxes follow the asset whether you live there or not.
Residence route and ownership structure settled before an offer.
Entrepreneurs and post-exit founders
The sale and the move are one decision.
The order of the sale, the residency date and any restructuring is the least forgiving part of a European move, because it decides what you keep.
That order fixed before either date is locked, with sign-offs named.

Six countries. One of them is yours.
France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Monaco. The Blueprint names which one, and why the other five were ruled out for you.
What you receive
What the Blueprint decides, chapter by chapter.
The actual table of contents of the file a client receives. Nine chapters, each closing with a position you can act on, a named owner and a date.

- 02
Country and city fit
The city, and the runner-up, chosen against your real week.

Client feedback
What changes when the path is finally clear.
Real client feedback. Because privacy is part of the mandate, names and identifying details are withheld.

“Alexandre was decisive in our choice of location. He helped us understand where in Italy made sense, then coordinated the property, residence, tax and local-partner questions around one plan. Without him, we would not have had the confidence to take the step and settle near Florence.”

“After selling my company, I wanted a pied-a-terre in Europe, not months of fragmented calls. Alexandre helped me shape the Paris brief, understand the tax and banking steps, find the right local partners and move from idea to execution.”

Your protection
The guarantee, in plain terms.
If it does not create clarity
If the Blueprint does not leave you clear on country, budget, tax route and timeline, the $7,500 is refunded and you keep every page of the work. You do not have to argue the point.
If you go ahead
The full $7,500 is credited toward an execution mandate, from $30,000. The decision phase is not a separate purchase. It is the first part of the same job.
The Blueprint is designed for Americans planning a serious European project, typically $500,000 or more.
Plain answers
Before you begin.
I already have a CPA and an attorney. Why would I need this?
Because they are not the problem. Each of them answers their own question well, and none of them owns the order the questions are answered in. This office coordinates the professionals you already trust, brings in the European specialists your file is missing, and holds the sequence. Your existing advisors keep their role, their relationship and their work.
I have not chosen a country yet. Is it too early?
It is the right moment. Choosing the country first is the most common and most expensive mistake in a European move: people select on a tax headline, then discover they do not qualify for the route that unlocks it. Country and city fit is chapter two of the Blueprint precisely because it is a conclusion, not a starting point.
What if the right answer is to wait, or not to go at all?
Then that is what the Blueprint will say, and it will say why, and what would have to change for the answer to become yes. A decision file that can only conclude in favor of moving is a sales document. This one is paid for by you, which is exactly what makes the other conclusion available.
Is this tax, legal or investment advice?
No. European Private Office coordinates the European file and the licensed professionals who handle regulated tax, legal, immigration and property work. It does not replace them and it publishes no tax positions. What the Blueprint gives you is the decision, the sequence and the named specialist for each question.
What happens right after I pay?
Within one business day you receive a private invitation to your 60-minute intake call with Alexandre. That call starts the three-week clock, and your Blueprint is delivered on day 21. A payment receipt from Stripe arrives in your inbox immediately.
What if I am not ready to decide in three weeks?
Then start with the call, at no cost, and decide afterward. If you would rather see how this office thinks before speaking to anyone, the free pre-move decision audit gives you your workstreams in order and the doors that close around them.
Not ready to decide? The free pre-move decision audit takes five minutes and shows you what to decide, in what order.
Europe rewards the well prepared.
Three weeks from now you can have the whole thing decided, written down and dated, with one person accountable for it.
